By introducing the basics of mould-making and live-casting to create a wearable artefact, this workshop aims to promote a fruitful and critical debate on contemporary art practices and theoretical issues, such as design with empathy, new economy model driven by the maker culture, and the sustainable design approach.

Interdisciplinary artist Phoebe Hui will conduct this workshop. She is also a lecturer from Department of Design Foundation Studies. Workshop supporting teaching staff are David Lee, Brigid Leung and Tiffany Fong.
